Security of personal information
We store all personal information electronically and, where applicable, physically in a manner designed to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability. Data is stored on secure servers protected by firewalls and other security controls. We use up-to-date security software and restrict access to authorised personnel only. While transmission of data over the internet can never be completely secure, we take reasonable steps and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal information.

If you make a payment via our Website, your Financial Data is sent to the payment processing service that you select. Please refer to the privacy information provided by the relevant payment processor for further details.
Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We or the third parties mentioned above occasionally also share personal data with:
- our and their external auditors (for example, in order to audit accounts) in which case the recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations;
- our and their professional advisers (such as lawyers and other advisers), in which case the recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations;
- law enforcement agencies, courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; and

The recipient of any of your personal data will be bound by confidentiality obligations.
International transfers of your information
Some of the third parties with whom we share your information may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where international transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms recognised under applicable data protection law, to ensure that your personal information remains adequately protected.
How long we keep your information
If you have registered an account on our website or client area, we will retain your information for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account or request us to do so, we will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including compliance with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.
In determining the appropriate retention period, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process the data and whether those purposes can be achieved through other means. In some cases, we may anonymise your data for research or statistical purposes, in which case it may be used indefinitely without further notice to you.
Your rights, consent and objections
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information at any time where processing is based on consent by contacting us using the details in ‘Contact Us’ below. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing some or all of our services to you, but it will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You may also have the right to access your personal information, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion where legally permissible, restrict processing, object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and request data portability.
If you object to processing based on legitimate interests, we will assess whether there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms. You cannot object to processing required by law or necessary to fulfil a contract to which you are a party. You may object to marketing communications at any time. P1 does not rely solely on automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.
What if I am unhappy?
If at any time you are not happy with how we handle your personal information, you can make a complaint to us. For further information, please see our Dispute Resolution & Complaints Handling Policy.
We would really like the opportunity to set things right with you, but you also have the right to raise any data protection concerns with a data protection authority directly if you are unhappy with the way we are handling your personal information.
